Marble polishing and restoration in Puerto Vallarta

A material-specific assessment for a more consistent marble finish.

Dull areas, surface marks and uneven shine can have different causes. Soluciones R assesses marble floors and countertops before recommending cleaning, honing, polishing or suitable protection.

Identify the cause first

An etched area is different from a stain or a film left by cleaning products. We review the stone, previous repairs and existing finish before choosing the process. A test area can help show which improvement is possible and which marks may remain.

Planning work in an occupied property

Agree the work areas, furniture movement and routes that need to remain accessible. Loose tiles, cracks and active moisture need attention before surface finishing. The proposal should explain the treatment, the desired finish and any preparation required from the owner or administrator.

Care after the work

Use cleaning products compatible with the stone and follow the agreed maintenance guidance. A sealer may reduce absorption of some liquids, but it does not make marble resistant to acids. Honed and polished finishes have different appearances; the choice should reflect the material and how the space is used.

Process following assessment

  1. Identify the marble and the type of damage.
  2. Carry out a test when the expected result needs clarification.
  3. Hone or polish where appropriate.
  4. Assess whether compatible sealing is needed.

Requesting a quote

Send your location in Puerto Vallarta or Bahía de Banderas, wide photographs and close-ups, approximate dimensions and preferred dates. Include access restrictions and the next planned use of the space. The proposal confirms the included areas, preparation, estimated timing and handover conditions. An inspection or test may be needed before a firm price can be provided.
